The UIGEA I mentioned last post was designed to restrict the ability of US players to move money onto and from online poker sites. This was designed to protect campaign contributing horse racing tracks and state lotteries. Lawmakers assumed that poker players would turn to horse racing and state lotteries online if they could make depositing on poker sites harder.
Stupid assumption, and ill-conceived attempt. Because of their foolish law, New Hampshire’s state lottery can no longer take credit cards online. Ha! the irony is rich. Plus, I play poker, I see lotteries as sucker bets without good winning odds, like most poker players do.
Luckily there are plenty of funding options still available to US players. My favorite is EwalletXpress. There are many EwalletXpress capable poker sites out there, and I get to move my money around safely and securely. free from the intrusive and misguided nitwits who claim to be doing the public’s will. You heard me nitwits, get rid of your crappy law before we get rid of you. People still vote, no matter how big your campaign contributions are, lose the people and you are toast.
