Land of the serfs

Hello again from the United States of Repression.  Where the word “freedom” is something we fight for in other countries, yet cannot allow any of it in our own.  The nobility (corporations and politicians) have to keep us serfs down or we might foment change that would endanger their coffers of treasure and wealth.

Well, poker playing serfs have yet another clandestine way to fund their online poker accounts.  PIC Club runs on sort of a credit union model where you buy shares and then move the shares to poker sites.  I am sure there is some sound legal basis for the system.  And I am sure the nobility is hard at work trying to remove this freedom too, but for now there are many Poker Sites that take PIC Club deposits from you poor downtrodden serfs in the former Land of the Free.

Remember, poker is bad, then porn is bad, then guns are bad, and finally the free expression of ideas is very bad.

“In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up.”

No, I am not making a comparison to nazi Germany.  Pastor Niemoller wrote this as a cautionary tale after the fact to remind people that silence is tyranny’s greatest tool.

Minnesota Pubic Safety reviled

The department of pubic safety in Minnesota is the latest evil, graft ridden organization to attack online poker to satisfy their masters.  They are planning to make ISP’s block some internet addresses because they have online gambling.  I wonder how much the Indian Casinos and state lottery paid these despised people.

Minnesotans hate this move, lawyers say it is illegal, and everyone is laughing at them, but they must be true to their ill gotten money and continue to sap the freedoms from the people who will eventually rise up against such tyranny.

Full Tilt Poker is the biggest name poker site to be on their list of sites.  So, Minnesotans, stop spending your 5cts/10cts on online poker and go blow $500-$1000 at an Indian casino, or buy way too many lottery tickets.  Corrupt government officials need to eat (caviar) too.
