I was running so bad in Online Poker Tournaments that I took Tuesday off for a break and to reflect on the causes of the downswing. I came back today thinking more about the game, position, and what every person’s actions meant. It seems to have helped. I took a bad beat from a bad player in an Omaha tournament. Lower buyin, so you have to expect dumbness. But as I write this I am one of 25 left in an $11 buyin bounty tournament at Doyles Room. I have made $6 of my original investment back already and will profit no matter how deep I get.
I see the whole game better now that I took a small break, and barring variance jumping on me and beating me on the head, I hope to make some deep runs going forward.
