Theory and Practice
There’s a saying that poker is a game that takes only minutes to learn, but a lifetime to master. This is where my Theory and Practice page comes into play. As a lifelong student of the game, new ideas cross my path at almost every moment of the day. Whether I’m studying a classic work such as Doyle Brunson’s Super/System or the Harrington on Hold’em series, much of my time and energy is focused on learning as much as possible and then figuring where it fits into my personal style of play. Therefor the Theory and Practice section of Darn River will be the focus of that journey. I’ll bring to it some of my thoughts and opinions on certain books, ideas, theories, etc. As well as hopefully sparking some discussions throughout.
As I’ve mentioned before, Darn River is a new site and therefore a definite work in progress. Check back regularly for updates!.
